Join or spread the movement that saved Baby Daniel’s life!
After many months at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, a grass-roots movement was started to raise funds to provide Baby Daniel with a liver transplant, donated by his father.
The family was flown to Columbia, where the transplant was successfully completed!
Dad has made a swift recovery. The baby is doing great, as well. In fact, he smiled for the first time in months just last week! However, since he was in such a weakened state by the time we were able to raise the funds, his recovery is taking longe than we had first hoped. He is still in ICU, and the hospital bills are racking up.
Please join the thousands of people across the world and donate to help this family cover the mounting hospital bills.
We are more than $60,000 short at this point. Anything helps.
When we were in the hospital waiting room, people who saw Baby Daniel on Telemundo would come up and give $2, or $20, even change. People have tweeted about him, joined the facebook group to spread the word, and donations have come in from 84 countries. The people of San Pedro were walking the streets with buckets, collecting a “Dollar for Daniel,” almost every bar and resteraunt in the city had buckets set up for donations. We’ve had fundraisers here, in San PedroAlong with some big donors, this added up to help us raise $250,000 in less than six weeks. It was truly amazing to see how the community came together to save this baby’s life.
Please spread the word. Donate a little (or a lot!). The change we’ve seen in him is so amazing. He’s recovering so quickly. You can make a difference. You can be a part of this amazing adventure. You can be responsible for saving this baby’s life. Donate now.
